Raw Onion a remedy for cancer




Eating raw onion , or juicing raw onion is good for cancer.

Better still if you can juice them and drink it every morning for forty days.
Recomended quantity will be a quarter cup every morning. I eat them chopped thinly with soyu as an appetiser .

Dear friends,

Welcome back to our page, we received a few enquiries last week after publishing our blog on facebook. Yes we are not in operation yet, but will be open for business in mid February 2013, insyALLAH.

Currently we are busy making preparations , sourcing our fresh produce and this will take a little bit of time. Our kitchen is under construction and hopefully it will be ready before February. I' m exited to start and at the same time pretty nervous too... I pray that everything will be as planned.

For Cancer & Diabetic Menus, numerous meetings have been arranged to meet up with Oncologists and Nutritionists for their in put.  We are making sure that all menus are according to your health requirements.

Weight Watchers' menus are on the way now... InsyALLAH we will publish them soon.  Portioning is important according to our dearest Dr. Nadzry Mokhtar of NARA SPA. He will be advising us on the entire menu... what to put ...what not to put...strict!! Strict !!



Kelantanese Cooking Lesson Anyone?


We have decided to include cooking classes on Saturdays, specializing only in Kelantanese cuisines. These recipes are precious and very sentimental to me and my family but I am willing to share them with you, as I feel that knowledge without sharing will not bring anyone any good.

Classes are can be arranged upon request. The art of Kelantanese cooking is scarce now, many cooks  prefer to take a short cut and compromise the balance in this cuisines. In our classes , we intend to share with you exactly how these cuisines are prepared and served. One can never do without another.

Making sure that Kelantanese cuisines are not distorted by adding wrong combinations IS very important. I have seen some dishes sold in restaurants and stalls were not according to the thumb of rule.

For example : Kelantanese do NOT serve acar timun with our Nasi Dagang, (only Terengganu Nasi Dagang is served with acar timun on the side). 

Kelantanese Cuisine preparations are tedious but its worth the effort when you finally serve them on the table ... Its a Grand Cuisine....and a unique one.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate.

Look at the color....as pretty and sexy as it looks, pomegranate is in-fact "GODLY CERTIFIED" fruit.
It was referred as Rumman in the Holy Book of Quran, and mentioned many times in other ancient text and scriptures.

I sprinkle those seeds into salads, yogurt or in drinks.  My late grand mother used to plant pomegranate in front of her house (so do I know ), unfortunately it remain skinny and "hidup tak segan , mati tak mahu" condition.

In Istanbul there are plenty of stalls selling pomegranate juice along the road side, you can also buy them in packets. 

Pomegranate Salad will be available in our weight watcher's diet and for special dietary menu.
I can't wait to serve you with all these marvelous healthy food.

Pomegranate aril juice provides about 16% of an adult's daily vitamin C requirement per 100 ml serving, and is a good source of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), potassium and natural phenols, such as ellagitannins and flavonoids. Pomegranates are listed as high-fiber in some charts of nutritional value. That fiber, however, is entirely contained in the edible seeds which also supply unsaturated oils. People who choose to discard the seeds forfeit nutritional benefits conveyed by the seed fiber, oils and micronutrients.

People twitted and updated their status about 21122012... I thought for a while if this might be true.. so where else can you hide but to face it.

I interpret it differently, to me its a beginning of a new era...

TiffinWalla... what does TiffinWalla mean?


TiffinWalla originated over a century ago when many Indians working for British companies disliked the food served at work. TiffinWalla service was created to bring home cooking to the workplace.

Sometimes I wish to have a 'wife" ha ha ha... after a hard day at work .. I go home to a fresh cooked meals served the way I like it. It is a bliss sitting at the dining table eating simple food freshly cooked. I wish .... 

Eating out vs Home cooked meals... of course.. its always Home Cooked Meals!!

Ordering food from Tiffin Walla Food Company gives you a different experience. It's like getting your Mak/ Amma/ Mama/ Mummy to cook your favorite dish and deliver to your doorstep.

Our menus are simple ones, because we do not want to stock up too much food supply, we hate to waste. Perishable items tend to "perish" fast... especially when the fridge is full.

Sorry that there is no photos uploaded on food yet... I am working on something... just wait ya... soon.. more and more photos are coming. ( I didn't expect blogging to take up so much time hahaaha... Still trying to figure out on this blog functions)

I will be sharing with you some photos when I come back from my visit to the chicken farm soon. Stay tune!

Wait aa...... more and more stories are coming up ... We hope to get everything ready for the official launch in February 2013.

We will be away for Christmas Holiday

Hi everyone,

We will be away for Christmas Holiday. We are going to Taiping and Ulu Muda Jungle in Kedah.
Will be spending time with my family and husband.

I think I need sometimes to reflect what I have done through out this year.. to evaluate my strength and weaknesses.

Shall I come up with a list ? SWOT analysis again? Yeah why not.... I should ha ha ha ha.

My strength ... hmmm what will it be? My weakness... be honest! ....

Let see what will come out of that....

Lately I have been getting bad migraine... bad head ache...body ache... is it the age? Of course NOT...we are not that OLD.

Is it the water? Is it my food? Is it the air that I breath in?

It got worst mid this year. I was hardly sick until this year... I m all out to change my life style.. to a healthy one.

Do you think minimize our over head expenses can also improve our quality of life? I think it gives you lesser stress....? hmmm it does give me some peace...

Anyway.. have fun everyone... even just flipping through your favorite magazines or just eating fried fish with kicap and rice... I guess life shouldn't be complicated....Happiness is Simplicity.

Safe journey to those who are traveling this holiday season.. for those who will be at home , have fun appreciating your family and your home... it's your home you know... its you.
